Fire prompts evacuations in Santa Cruz Mountains

SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS, Calif. (KTVU) - Cal Fire was at the scene of a wildfire Thursday morning in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The fire broke out at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday on Bear Canyon Road in the Boulder Creek Area, which is north of Ben Lomond.
A structure went up in flames, and started a grass fire.
The fire prompted an evacuation.
As of Thursday morning, crews had contained the fire and were cleaning up.
No one was hurt, and evacuations were ordered as a precaution, because the fire burned along a main road.
