Firefighters rescue person from cliff near Baker Beach

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco fire crews used a technical rope rescue Saturday night to bring a woman who was stuck on the side of a cliff to safety. 

The rescue effort near Baker Beach was first reported at 5:30 Saturday evening. 

Steep cliffs and darkness made the rope rescue a bit challenging, officials said. 

The woman was finally brought to safety just before 7:00 p.m. 

San Francisco fire says she was not injured.
