Here's KTVU crime reporter Henry Lee's Rap Sheet blog for June 8, 2016:

PUBLIC STORAGE LOCKER RAIDED: Daly City police say they need to identify a woman who used a credit card stolen from a storage locker to make fraudulent purchases.

The break-in happened on April 29, when the victim's locker at a Public Storage facility was broken into, Daly City police. Among the items taken were sports memorabilia and the victim's credit card.

Later that evening, a woman was captured on surveillance video using the credit card at the Target store in Daly City. She also made other fraudulent purchases in Antioch, Brentwood, Pinole and San Francisco.

Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to call Daly City police at (650) 991-8119 or the anonymous TIP line at (650) 873-AIMS and refer to case # 16004033.

MAN THANKS COPS FOR NOT SHOOTING HIM: Then there's this gem from the San Mateo police and county prosecutors.

In March, plainclothes officers in an unmarked car pulled over Jake Parnell, 33, of Visalia for driving in a BMW with no front license plate, authorities said.

Parnell pulled into a motel parking lot and stopped, authorities said. He gave the officers fake name and drove away when the officers realized that the BMW was stolen, police said.

At one point, Parnell drove toward the officers at high speed, forcing them to run to safety, police said. Parnell then drove forward through a fence, backed toward the officers again and drove through a chain-link fence before hitting a parked car and tree, prosecutors said.

The suspect fled on foot but was found hiding and in possession of five grams of methamphetamine, authorities said. He told the officer who found him, "Thanks for not shooting me!" according to prosecutors, who could not resist this quip in response: "You're welcome."
