Fremont intersection closed due to sinkhole, water main break

An intersection in Fremont will be closed until at least Tuesday night after a sinkhole opened up in the middle of the road. The intersection of Christy Street and Albrae Street is closed while crews work to repair the damage. Fremont police said the sinkhole was caused by groundwater from some excavation PG&E was doing on a project. Saturday morning.
