Global wine production expected to decrease

Extreme weather could be putting your favorite bottle of wine at risk.

The International Organization of Vine and WIne is blaming harsh weather on one of the worst years of production in the past 20 years.

Global wine production is expected to fall five percent this year, especially in France and South Africa.

However, wine production is not falling in Australia, the United States, or Spain. All three countries are expected to have increased production.

Wine producers and sellers usually keep stocks of bottles in reserve in the case of supply problems.
