Golden Gate Harley Owners Group holds 29th annual toy run

Members of the Golden Gate Harley Owners Group took part in their 28th annual toy run today.

The event started at Dudley Perkins Harley Davidson in San Francisco and ended at the San Mateo Medical Center.

The toys collected at this event will go less fortunate children in the San Mateo area and those spending the holiday season at San Mateo Medical Center.

The director of the Golden Gate Harley Owners group, John Schuman, says, "There are a lot of families who county on this to make a good holiday at Christmastime for kids in the area. It's become an important part of the community".

Over the past 27 years, the group has donated nearly one million toys to children in need.

The group also donates cash, food, and clothing to other charitable organizations within San Mateo County.
