Governor Jerry Brown, Senator Feinstein visits Sonoma County

File Art -- Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed legislation Friday that would have required Calif. middle and high schools to start no earlier than 8:30 a.m.

Governor Jerry Brown, along with U.S. Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris visited Sonoma County Saturday.

They met with emergency responders , the media, and will be attending a community meeting in Santa Rosa. 

The Governor also announced that the White House has approved California's request for additional aid to people affected by the fires.

Santa Rosa firefighters, Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, Cal Fire, and other city officials will also be attending the community meeting.
