Hayward police search for driver in hit-and-run

HAYWARD, Calif. (KTVU) - Hayward police are searching for a driver accused of hitting a woman crossing the street and then driving away.
It happened around 6:40 p.m. Monday at Hesperian Boulevard and Tahoe Avenue.
Police say the woman was hit by two vehicles.
One of the drivers stayed at the scene.
Investigators say the second driver stopped and got out, along with several of the passengers in the car, and then the group got back in the car and drove away.
The driver police are looking for was in a dark Toyota Corolla.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
