SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU & BCN) -- Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was once again in San Francisco, making an appearance for a fundraiser at the the Bill Graham Civic Center Auditorium this afternoon.

Around 11:15 this morning, Clinton surprised supporters by showing up at her campaign headquarters on Van Ness Avenue.

The former Secretary of State was presented with a homemade picture of herself by Bella Kaufman Pelosi, the granddaughter of House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi.

Then it was on to the fundraiser luncheon at the Bill Graham Auditorium.

"I just think this is a really cool opportunity to be able to be a part of something big and and when else can we maybe meet a president?" said Debra Marks of Oakland.

"This year is obviously crazy and historic and in many ways it's different than anything else that's happened," said Bob King of Oakland. "So I think it's a great time to get out there and vote."

The line to get into the lunch wrapped around the entire plaza.

"I'm very surprised that the polls close are at all so hopefully she has this election in the bag," said Ohnmar Khin of San Francisco.

Hillary supporters paid between $45- $50,000 for a ticket.

"In every single election people say this is the most important election of a lifetime I actually think fundamentally this is the most [important] election, of potentially my lifetime," said Brian Gillis, San Francisco.

With the recent surfacing of the Access Hollywood tape of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump making lewd comments about women, some see this election as slam dunk for Clinton now.

"It's interesting that all of this drama people are just waking up to it all existed before, it's nothing new we all knew it!" said Karen Stilber, San Francisco.

"For me it's kind of a no brainer," said Danny Kaufman, San Francisco. "I think symbolically for the United States to have a first female president would be a huge achievement for us."

Clinton is now headed to Los Angeles where she will do a taping of the Ellen Show. Later, she will attend a fundraiser dinner in Beverly Hills.

Then it's on to key battleground states to try to close the gap before November 8th.
