Holiday meals served at 2 longtime SF charitable organizations

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) -- Two prominent charitable organizations in San Francisco will serve meals on Christmas, to thousands of people and families in need.

Glide Memorial Church kicked off its Christmas celebrations in its sanctuary, starting at 9 a.m., with St. Anthony's Dining Room serving Christmas dinners to low-income families, starting at 10 a.m. this morning.

Players on the UCLA and Nebraska football teams, competing in Saturday's Foster Farms Bowl at Levi's Stadium, are helping serve meals.

Nebraska is at St. Anthony's, with UCLA at Glide.

Foster Farms also donated more than 10-thousand pounds of chicken to both places for the meals.
