Initiative to get pinklicense plates on the road needs orders

(KTVU) - Pink Plates is an initiative seeking to get pink license plates on cars to raise awareness for breast cancer. 

The plates would say "early detection saves lives" and proceeds would benefit the Every Woman Counts program.

7500 orders are needed by July in order to see them on the road. There are currently over 3800 orders.
