Interstate 880 in Fremont back open following deadly crash
FREMONT, Calif. (KTVU) - Interstate 880 in Fremont is back open this morning, following a deadly two car crash.
The CHP says a car smashed into a stalled vehicle on the highway, near the Automall Parkway off-ramp around 2AM Saturday.
The person with the stalled vehicle died on the scene.
Police don't know if he was in the car, or on the roadway, at the time of the crash.
