Juveniles named as suspects in North Bay school burglaries

Police have made arrests in the burglaries of multiple Rohnert Park schools and say the suspects are juveniles.

The thefts occurred between Jan. 24 and Jan. 26 at different schools within the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District.

What we don't know:

It's unclear how the underage pair made their way through the various schools.

The burglarized schools weren't named. It's also unclear what was stolen from the schools.

It wasn't immediately known if the juveniles were students of CRPUSD.

What's next:

Both were arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Juvenile Hall for burglary, grand theft, and conspiracy. One of the suspects was also booked on a separate felony violation.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Det. Ashley Freyer with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety at (707) 588-3513.
