Luxury house in 'Big Little Lies' for rent

MALIBU, Calif. (KTVU) - Fans of the HBO hit drama "Big Little Lies" can now get a feel for what it would be like to live like the Monterey Five. 

The massive beach house that belongs to Madeline Mackenzie, the character played by Reese Witherspoon, is available for rent.

The sprawling 6,000 square foot estate sleeps 12, with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a guest house. But it should be noted, that while the show takes place in Monterey, interested parties in the Bay Area would have to drive farther south if they want to rent out the property -- father south like Malibu.

They'll also have to be prepared to spend $3,000-$5,000 a night. 

The Cape Cod-style estate is available for vacations, family reunions, corporate retreats, special events, and location filming, according to the rental listing agent. 

Guests can soak up stunning ocean-front views from the TV famous house, which also offers available staff and services including a maid and butler, private chef, baby-sitter and yoga instructor.
