Magnitude 2.9 quake in Berkeley Hills Saturday morning
BERKELEY, Calif. - A 2.9 earthquake struck Saturday morning along the Hayward Fault in Berkeley, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake, at 8:44 a.m., was about 7 miles deep and centered near Dwight Way and Panoramic Way in the Berkeley hills, close to UC Berkeley's Clark Kerr Campus.
