Magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes off coast near Humboldt Co.
FERNDALE, Calif. (KTVU) - USGS reported a magnitude 5.6 earthquake off Northern California's coast Friday night.
The quake struck at 8:27 p.m. 64 miles west of Ferndale in Humboldt County. There were no reports of injuries and minimal damage.
At a local saloon in Ferndale, patrons said they didn't feel it and that nothing fell from the walls.
