These three were arrested by Milpitas police in a mail-theft investigation.

Here's KTVU crime reporter Henry Lee's Rap Sheet blog for June 14, 2016:

ALLEGED MAIL THIEVES NABBED: Three alleged mail thieves were caught red-handed by Milpitas police, authorities say.

The investigation began about 4:15 a.m. June 8 when a witness saw a man and a woman "rummaging through mailboxes" and removing mail from homes along Singley Drive.

Officers arrived and detained Jessica Flores, 30, of Antioch and Noah Kerran, 34, of San Francisco and recovered the stolen mail.

Police then found a Dodge Caravan parked on nearby Corinthia Drive with Kathleen Russell, 31, of Fremont sitting inside. Inside the vehicle were identification cards, credit cards, checks, tools and electronic equipment that belonged to other people.

All told, police determined that at least 19 people had been victims of mail theft or auto burglary.

Flores and Kerran were arrested on suspicion of mail theft, identity theft and conspiracy. Russell was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and stolen property and outstanding warrants.

TEEN HELD IN SCHOOL BURGLARY: A 15-year-old boy was arrested by East Palo Alto police in connection with a school burglary.

The investigation began early the morning of June 6 when staff at Brentwood Oaks School on Clarke Avenue arrived and found several classrooms burglarized and vandalized. The thief stole several iPads and laptops from classrooms.

On Monday, officers on routine patrol came across several juveniles on an access road behind East Bayshore Road. They found a 15-year-old boy in possession of an Apple iPad that had been stolen from the school and arrested him.

Officers returned to the campus and discovered three laptops and two iPad minis "concealed in an inaccessible area," police said.
