Major accident blocks 4 lanes of westbound 24 in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, Calif. (KTVU) - An accident involving multiple vehicles is blocking four lanes of westbound Highway 24 just west of Pleasant Hill Road in Lafayette.

The CHP has issued a sig alert saying the numbers two, three, four and five lanes are blocked with no estimated time of re-opening.

The accident was reported around 2:44 p.m. Thursday.
