Major BART recovers after major delay

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - BART has recovered from an equipment problem.

There were delays Friday morning for passengers at San Francisco stations. 

The delays were impacting trains that were headed in the East Bay direction. 

The delays were prompted by an equipment problem at 16th Street. There was smoke reported, possibly due to an issue with the brakes.
