Man arrested for stabbing Sacramento K9 officer
Authorities arrested Jackie Burke, 41, Saturday night for stabbing a Sacramento County Sheriff's Departmetn canine.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. ( - Authorities arrested a man for stabbing a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department canine Saturday night.
Jedi was helping officers arrest 41-year-old Jackie Burke for domestic violence. When officers pulled him over, Burke got out of the car and was hiding a knife in one of his hands.
Officers were able to shoot him with a bean-bag-round and then Jedi went in. That's when Burke stabbed the K9.
Jedi went in for surgery Saturday night and is expected to be back on duty soon.
