Man arrested for stealing Xanax with gun from Menlo Park CVS

Menlo Park police arrested a man who robbed a CVS pharmacy on Thursday morning, and then robbed the store again yesterday.

Surveillance video shows the suspect at the store on El Camino Real on Thursday.

The man got away with two bottles of the prescription drug Xanax, after displaying a handgun in his waistband.

A worker at the store says he showed up again on Saturday and demanded more of the drug.

She called police and left the phone off the hook so that police could hear what was going on. She tried to stall until they arrived, but he showed her his gun and he complied with his demands.

Officers arrived a minute later and located him nearby.

He's identified as 50-year-old Scott Davis from Menlo Park.

He's facing at least two counts of armed robbery.
