Man dead after shooting in East Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - A man was found fatally shot Friday night in East Oakland, according to police.

Police responded shortly before 11 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 10100 block of International Boulevard. Officers provided medical care, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press statement from police.

The man's name was not released. Police provided no other information about the shooting, or whether any suspects were in custody.
