Man found dead in San Jose Lowe's home improvement store parking lot

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - - A man police believe was homeless was found dead late Monday night, in the parking lot of a Lowe's home improvement store in San Jose.

Police received a call just after 10:30 p.m., about a person on the ground at Ridder Park Drive. The caller was not sure whether the person was dead.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was unconscious and not breathing, with visible injuries.

Paramedics tried to revive him, but he was pronounce dead at the scene.

Investigators are not commenting about how he died.

No arrests have been made.

The identity of the victim will be released, once the coroner's office makes a positive identification, and notifies relatives.
