Man shot to death in San Jose

SAN JOSE (KTVU) -- The San Jose Police Department's Homicide Unit are investigating a deadly shooting Friday night, authorities said.

At 10:43 p.m, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Tully Road and Capitol Expressway.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, said police.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, a short time later, according to authorities.

His name will not be released, until the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office makes a positive identification, and notifies his family.

Police say the circumstances or motive surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
