Man shot to death near El Farolito Bar in San Francisco, sink thrown through patrol car

San Francisco police began investigating a homicide early Monday morning in the Mission District after they found a man dead of a gun shot wound, and during the investigation, someone threw a sink through the back of a police patrol car.

Sgt. Michael Andraychak said police were called out to 24th and Mission streets about 2:30 a.m. and found the man there.  Video at scene showed officers taking photographs in what appeared to be a doorway near El Farolito Bar.

No one has been arrested.

As police were investigating the man's death, someone through a sink through the back of a patrol car. Police want to know who did it, but at this time, it does not appear to be related to the homicide.
