Masked men escape after robbing armored truck outside Wells Fargo in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Two masked men escaped Thursday after robbing an armored truck outside a bank in Oakland.

According to the Oakland Police Department, the incident happened at 10:51 a.m. in front of a Wells Fargo Bank at Foothill Square shopping center. 

Police say the suspects were possibly armed with rifles when they robbed a Loomis USA armored truck.
