Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1.5M sold at SJ sandwich store

SAN JOSE, Calif. (BCN) - A California Lottery Mega Millions ticket purchased in San Jose for Tuesday's drawing is worth more than $1.5 million, lottery officials said.
The ticket purchased at Huong Lan Sandwiches at 1655 Tully Road matched five of the six numbers in the draw and is worth $1,593,144, according to lottery officials.
The ticket matched the winning numbers 8, 45, 17, 71 and 20, missing just the Mega number 4.
The business that sold the ticket will receive a bonus check of $7,965, lottery officials said.
No one matched all six numbers in Tuesday's draw, so Friday's Mega Millions jackpot will be an estimated $200 million, according to lottery officials.
Mega Millions is played in California and 43 other states, as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
