Metallica to headline Super Bowl concert at AT&T Park

The night before the Super Bowl has become a big party in the host city.

This year's headline event will be a concert at AT&T Park featuring Metallica, one of the biggest selling acts in American music history.

The band made it big here in the Bay Area and still consider it home.

Lars Ulrich, one of the founding members of the band said it will be one, over the top, hometown gig.

Cage the Elephant will kick off the concert on Saturday February 6th.

Pre-sale tickets start Wednesday and general admission ticket sales begin Friday.
