Missing 11YO Pleasanton boy found safe

PLEASANTON (KTVU) -- Police said Tuesday evening that a missing Pleasanton boy who was last seen at his elementary school has been found safe.

Authorities said Daniel Romeo, 11, was found in Dublin while walking on the Ironhorse Trail. A passerby saw the boy and called police, police said.

"Thank you for helping to bring Daniel home," the department tweeted Tuesday evening.

The boy was reported missing after being last seen at Lydikson Elementary School shortly before 3 p.m.
