Missing 4YO boy found, Union City police says

UNION CITY (KTVU) -- A missing 4-year-old boy who disappeared under suspicious circumstances has been found, Union City police said Friday.

Lykier Acosta, a Hispanic male, who stands 3 feet tall and weighs between 50-60 pounds, was last seen Friday morning wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

Police were called shortly after 8 a.m. Friday morning to a report of a domestic dispute on Mission Boulevard near Tamarack Drive. A caller told police that a man was seen pushing a woman from a car. The woman told officers that her husband, identified as Lawrence Pollard, fled from the scene in their car and the boy was still in the vehicle.

Police said Pollard had been questioned but the boy's whereabouts remain unknown. Shortly after 12:30 p.m., police said the boy was found.
