Missing K9: Lake County deputies seek help in finding their dog

LAKEPORT, Calif. (KTVU) - Sheriff's officials in Lake County are seeking the public's help in locating one of their own.

8-year-old Dozer is a K9 with the Lake County Sheriff's Office. The yellow Labrador Retriever disappeared Sunday night at about 8:30 p.m. 

He was last seen in the area of Park Dr. in Kelseyville, sheriff's officials said.

The beloved dog is described as "very friendly" and deputies said he acts younger than his age.  

Officials are circulting photos of the dog online and urging anyone who may have spotted him or have any information about the dog's whereabouts to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office at 707-263-2690.
