MoMo's expands to Walnut Creek

A popular restaurant right outside AT&T Park is expanding to Walnut Creek.

Momo's is a favorite spot for Giants fans heading into or out of a game, and on Tuesday the restaurant said it's opening a location in Walnut Creek.

The eatery will move into the space previously occupied by McCovey's on North California Boulevard.

McCovey's recently moved out of that location, and is looking to open up again in a new location near AT&T Park.

This news comes as other popular restaurants have decided to call Walnut Creek home.

One of the most popular San Francisco pizzerias, Tony's Pizza, is set to open a Slice House in Walnut Creek. Although an opening date has not yet been set, we're told it will open soon. It will be located downtown on Mt. Diablo Boulevard.

Meanwhile a famous Napa restaurant is also expanding to Walnut Creek.

Gott's Roadside, which is famous for its burgers and shakes, plans to open by the end of the year. It will be located on South Main Street in the Fresh Choice building.

This comes after Teleféric, a restaurant located in Barcelona, decided to expand to Walnut Creek. Their tapas-style restaurant has drown crowds since it opened its doors.
