Moving photos of service men and women meant to expand perspective

(WTXF)- College student and photographer Devin Mitchell came up with the idea to share the personal stories and struggles of active duty service members and veterans.

Mitchell appeared on Fox & Friends earlier this week to explain the purpose of the Veteran Vision Project, which shows service men and women in a new life, reflecting on their past service.

The project also seeks to expand the common perspective about the men and women who serve their country, as members of the armed services.

Mitchell's campaign has captured countless moving, and inspirational images of men and women in the United States Military.

Mitchell hopes to produce a photo book of these images, and has started an online fundraiser.
