LIVERMORE, Calif. (KTVU) - Two roads in the Livermore area were closed because of mudslides from our recent rain.
Patterson Pass, which is just east of Cross Road, and Tesla Road, west of Carnegie, were shut down late Monday afternoon because of mud and debris.
Drivers were encouraged to take 580 as an alternate route.
Patterson Pass has since reopened.
Livermore received 1.5" of rain Sunday and Monday.
State climatologists monitored Monday's storm from Sacramento.
Even though it will be dry for the next week, they are optimistic that predictions of a huge El Nino will happen.
