Multiple collisions on US 101 in Marin County with injuries

MARIN COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - California Highway Patrol is reporting multiple collisions, including injuries this evening on northbound U.S. Highway 101 between San Rafael and Novato. 

All lanes reopened around 9:22 p.m. after a severe traffic alert had been issued at 9:00 p.m.

CHP issued the alert north of N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael as left lanes were blocked. On Twitter, CHP said traffic was stop and go between I-580 and Freitas. 

There are residual delays.
