Muni bus rear ended in Mission District, causing minor injuries

A bus was rear ended in San Francisco's Mission District Thursday afternoon, causing minor injuries to passengers, according to Muni and fire officials.

The collision involving an outbound 22 Folsom bus occurred at 4:13 p.m. at 16th and Folsom streets, according to Paul Rose, a spokesman for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

Fire officials reported six people at the scene with "very minor" injuries, none of whom were taken to the hospital, according to fire department spokesman Jonathan Baxter.

The scene was cleared shortly after 5 p.m., Rose said.
