Family, friends, and police investigators continue to look for the missing man, and investigators say they have reason to believe he was murdered.

Family and friends have been organizing search efforts through social media, focusing on areas on the Peninsula and the shore of the Bay around Mountain View.

Myrick was reported missing on Friday January 22 at approximately 6:20pm.

Investigators say he was last seen near GP Sports, the motorcycle store where he worked on Camden Avenue.

When officers arrived at that location, they found evidence consistent with a crime scene and determined that the case was a homicide.

They identified 39-year-old Hlebo as a person of interest and then arrested him on Saturday.

Police are asking for the public’s help to determine where Hlebo may have been on Friday.

They are specifically asking for witness accounts involving Hlebo’s truck, a white 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 truck.

The truck was confiscated over the weekend and investigators believe it may have been associated with the murder.

They are trying to determine it’s whereabouts between the hours of 5:00PM Friday January 22 to 2:00AM Saturday January 23.
