Napa police investigate shooting of teen
NAPA, Calif. (KTVU) - NAPA (BCN) - Napa police are investigating a shooting that injured a17-year-old boy late Sunday night.
The injured teen flagged down a passerby in the area of Freeway Drive and First Street around 10:20 p.m., police Lt. Brian Campagna said.
The boy was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of a single gunshot wound and was later released, Campagna said. He had a no bail arrest warrant and was taken to Juvenile Hall.
The motive for the shooting and the identity of the suspect are under investigation, but detectives are looking into whether it was gang-related, police said.
