Nevada couple may have the world's largest dog

NEVADA (KTVU) - A couple in Nevada will soon find out if they have the world’s largest dog.

Rocko is 160 lbs and stands more than 7-feet-tall on his hind legs.

The family is trying to get him into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Rocko's owner, Nicholas Helms, says the 2-year-old Great Dane is still growing.

“He sprouted like a weed. The next morning his collar was tighter. He was half and inch taller. It happened numerous times," said Helms.

It will take about 12 weeks before the couple finds out if Rocko made it into the record books.
