The sister of the man who died at a UC Berkeley fraternity over the weekend, is suggesting that he could have been saved.

Twenty-two-year-old Jeff Engler had been drinking, when he went to the roof of the Pi Kappa Phi house during a Christmas party last Friday night.

His sister, Caity Engler, shared with the Bay Area News Group, information about the police investigation.

She says her brother, fell 30-feet off the roof, but was found alive and even talking to friends afterwards.

However, she says instead of calling paramedics, the people at the fraternity thought he was drunk, and took him inside to lay down.

Engler was pronounced dead the next morning.

The paper reports that neither the school or the fraternity are commenting about these new assertions.
