NJ State Police investigate report of needle in candy

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ (WTXF) - New Jersey State Police are investigating a disturbing find inside a young child's Halloween candy.
Troopers received a report of a sewing needle found in candy collected in Commercial Township, Cumberland County.
The victim to police she discovered the needle inside a Tootsie Roll her child collected while trick or treating around 7:00p.m.
Police have no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
State Troopers encourage parents to continue to check their children's Halloween Candy.
