Noe Valley fire destroys home, damages building
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KTVU) – A San Francisco home under construction was destroyed and another building damaged during a fire early on Thursday morning.
The blaze broke out just after 3:30am on the 2300 block of Castro street near 29th street in the Noe Valley neighborhood of the city.
Extra San Francisco firefighters were called in to protect the neighboring homes, but one building next door did sustain exterior damage.
The house where the fire began was under construction and no one was home at the time.
No one was injured in the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.
