Oakland: Victim suffers multiple wounds in stabbing near Laney College
OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - A male victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the face and hands Friday evening in Oakland, police said today.
The stabbing took place at about 6 p.m. in the 800 block of Oak Street near the Lake Merritt BART station and Laney College.
The victim was taken to a hospital, according to police. One suspect has been identified but is not in custody.
The suspect used a knife in the stabbing and took some of the victim's belongings, police said.
