Officials: 6 separate fires in Golden Gate Park in less than 24 hours

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - Fire crews are investigating a total of six fires in an isolated area of Golden Gate Park that occurred within 24 hours of each other, San Francisco fire said Saturday. 

All of the fires have been in the area of Polo Fields and Casting Ponds.  

Crews responded to one of the fires around 6 p.m. Friday before getting the call of another one minutes later. Crews contained both fires in less than an hour and no one was injured.

The exact time of the other four fires was not immediately available.

Investigators will look to see if all six fires are connected.
