One dead after vehicle veers into San Jose credit union

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - San Jose Police is currently investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred at a credit union.

Officers reponded to Alliance Credit Union on Curtner Ave. around 11:45 Friday morning on a report of a vehicle crashing into a building.

The investigation currently indicates two vehcles were involved in a collision and one of the vehicles veered into the building. 

One victim was pronounced deceased inside the building. The reporter on scene says the man killed was a painter in the building and was not related to either vehicle.

 Another victim was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Both drivers remained on scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

The identity of the victim will not be released until the identity is confirmed and next of kin is notified.
