Union City Police say they caught everyone responsible for a triple shooting Monday night, that left one person dead.

Gunfire erupted just before 9 p.m., near the Texas Roadhouse restaurant at the Union Landing Shopping Center.

Police received several calls about the shooting, and officers who just happened to be working in the area, heard the gunshots and arrived within a minute.

They found two victims in the parking lot; one of whom was dead.

The other victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

From a witness description, officers located the suspect's car a short distance away.

Police arrested three people and recovered a gun.

As officers searched that car, they spotted another vehicle speeding off.

Police also stopped this vehicle, and found the third shooting victim.

He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was not arrested.

Although detectives are now investigating this case, they do not think there is an ongoing public threat.
