One person shot in shopping center on Emeryville border
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- Oakland police responded to a shooting on the Emeryville border Tuesday afternoon that injured one person.
Police were called to 1501 Yerba Buena Ave. just after 12:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting in the East Bay Bridge Shopping Center near an Extended Stay America hotel and several major stores.
Officers found one male victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries and police did not have an update on his condition Tuesday afternoon.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, police said.
