'Otter Bowl' at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

MONTEREY, Calif. (KTVU) - Sea otters at the Monterey Bay Aquarium got a super-sized treat ahead of the Super Bowl. 

The otters participated in their own "otter bowl."

The otters were given helmets to represent the Panthers and Broncos. The helmets are made of ice with treats inside.

They were also given some ice footballs with tasty clam strips as the football laces. 

It's unclear if the otters favored one team over the other, but there's no doubt they loved the treats.
