Outside Lands began at noon Friday, and crews were scrambling now to get ready for the three day festival.

On Friday morning, dozens of vehicles were lining up and to make deliveries.

Whitney, Down and Outlaws, and Make it Funky DJ's kicked off this year's Outside Lands at noon.

Seventy thousand fans per day are expected to attend the festival.

The three day concert features some acts just about everyone will be familiar with Duran Duran playing Friday night. Radiohead will play Saturday and Lionel Richie will play Sunday. They are just three of the more than 100 musical acts that will play over the course of Outside Lands.

Crews were scrambling Thursday, putting the finishing touches on the iconic main stage.

This year the festival is going 'cashless.' Concertgoers will get wristbands they can use to pay for everything from food to beer.

Traffic and parking is also an issue. Concert promoters are urging everyone to take public transportation to get to the concert.
