Overnight rain and lingering showers on Wednesday
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - More rain is in the forecast for late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, and this wet pattern has all the hallmarks of an El Nino year. This pattern is warmer and wetter.
The heaviest rains will likely be between midnight and four or five in the morning, and there could be half and inch to an inch of rain that comes down. The coastal hills could see even more, even as much as two inches of rain. Lunchtime will be clearer and then there could be lingering showers again in the afternoon.
Roads up to the Sierra will likely be treacherous, this pattern is prime for blizzard conditions.
